A. EVANGELOU CLINICAL LABORATORY has achieved accreditation in accordance with the international standard for medical and clinical laboratories after a successful and thorough evaluation from the Cyprus Organisation for the Promotion of Quality

ISO 15189 – Medical laboratories - Requirements for quality and competence Accreditation is a recognition of the laboratory's quality and competence. Accreditation is achieved when the laboratory has a quality management system in place that complies with the requirements of the international quality standard ISO 15189.

Within the sector of clinical laboratories accreditation refers to: the official recognition by the competent, recognized, and independent national body that a laboratory is technically competent and has the necessary resources to perform specific measurements and tests accurately and consistently.
